Rajinder Ballman
Clinical Psychologist

Rajinder joined the Academic Unit of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Imperial College in August, 2016. Her main role involves the supervision of interveners working on the Healthy Start Happy Start research trial. This study aims to look at effectiveness of an early intervention programme for young children vulnerable to developing behavioural problems in later life.
 
Rajinder qualified as a clinical psychologist in 1995 at University College London. Soon after her training she joined Camden Primary Care Trust and worked in a number of sites offering psychological interventions for children and adolescents including the Anna Freud Centre; Camden Early Years Children Centres; Nuffield Centre, Greenland Road Children Centre and The Tavistock Clinic.
