pPOD is based between two sites; the Oxford University Department of Psychiatry and the Centre for Mental Health at Imperial College, London. The team comprises psychologists, psychiatrists and other doctors. It is jointly led by Dr Paul Ramchandani and Dr Susannah Murphy.

Paul is LEGO® Professor of Play in Education, Development and Learning at Cambridge University, UK. He leads a research team investigating the role of play in children’s early development. He also works as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the UK National Health Service. |

Susannah is a senior postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford. She completed a D.Phil. at the University of Oxford in 2007, funded by The Wellcome Trust, and an MSc in Neuroscience, also at Oxford University. |

Lorraine is a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London. Her research at Imperial College has focused on the development of psychopathology in children and their parents following an acute episode of paediatric critical illness. |
