On Wednesday 26th August the pPOD team will be at the Science Museum lates event presenting on early parent-infant interactions and attachment.
The theme this month is Childhood, with a variety of talks, stalls, activities and games to both take you back to your childhood and hear a little bit more about the science behind it. Entry is free and the event starts at 18:45 and runs until 22:00.

1. Paul Ramchandani’s talk: First love: do early parent-infant interactions shape our future? (19.30, 20.15 and 21.00)
Our early lives and relationship are important, but how important? Do they really mould us for life. Dr Paul Ramchandani will explore the place of these first loves.
2. Drop in: First loves, first attachments (all evening)
Where does our understanding of our attachments as babies come from? Take a peek at some of the original experiments with scientists from Imperial College.
